Imagine this scenario, you arrive at an idylic mill building nestling betwixt the River Aire and Leeds Liverpool canal to the aroma of a delicious brunch. There may even be a musician or two to serenade you upon arrival.

And whilst you rest your weary backsides you can absorb inspiration, just by the act of listening to a group of people from across the UK, whom we are calling 'Magic Plate Spinners' as they share with us their stories. These fine people have a 'just get on a do it or die trying' attitude to making great stuff happen, not just for themselves but for others too.

They are also defined by having multiple projects on the go with the real risk that one of those plates may just crash at any point! Hear how they keep making great stuff happen, from secret supper clubs & underground markets, saving libraries & museums, pioneering artful pop ups, and secreting art across a city.

Kerstin Rodgers: Anarcho-restaurateur, photographer, and now recently published author of Supper Club Recipes & Notes from The Underground Restaurant

Dan Thompson of Worthing based Revolutionary Arts Group: Artist/writer/photographer/explorer. Fond of books, Marmite and psychogeography. Expert in recycling empty shops. Failed recordstore owner. We think this is a bit too modest, but judge for yourself!

Kirsty Hall is an artist & purveyor of mad obsessive projects. She lives in Bristol but can often be found wandering aimlessly through the internet. Her current crazy-ass project involves jars – lots and lots of jars: 

Mar Dixon American mom/wife in Salop UK. Big on fun, education, art, science, #savelibraries @CultureThemes & @savemuseums. Mar describers herself as a perpetual student who also does puppet stuff. We've got four more slots for locally based plate spinners.

David Edmunds founder of Leeds based independant theatre production company dep arts ltd and Hull Dance festival, loves dance, theatre, outside shenanigans and people who get stuff done and who make people think and smile.Lives near York with long suffering wife and children ( she is the real plate spinner) but can often be found at service stations along the length of the M62

Jane Earnshaw festival director, house builder and serial helper. Jane has a bad habit of bringing home bits of junk that will be usefull one day. She also likes driving tractors.

Our brunch menu has been devised by the innovative FIsh& and promises to be scrumptious. Aglassto will be on hand to tell you all about a new venture they are launching.

The recommended minimum donation is £12 per head this includes admission into Armley Mills Industrial Museum, entertainment and inspiration! A bargain we think!
